Dr. Svetlana Daichman
Doctor Daichman’s primary research interests concentrate on the assessment, mathematical modelling, and implementation of operation research tools in the decision making process of the health care system, all while operating under budget constraints. Her research is focused on providing quantitative tools for improvement of the decision making process, while reducing possible manipulations. The process of implementation of new medications and technologies into the health portfolio in Israel was examined by operation research tools as a model for decision making process under budget constraints. In addition, several new methods for group-based decision making were assessed. Doctor Daichman proposes that implementation of these methods may result in improvement in decision making and better allocation of resources in the health care system
