Dr. Hofit Itzhak Ben Shalom is a faculty member at the Sami Shamoon (SCE) College of Engineering, Beer Sheva and teaches at the Porter School of Environmental Studies, Tel Aviv University
Dr. Itzhak Ben Shalom‘s doctoral research focuses on the field of environmental science and global warming, examining climate change in different climatic zones in Israel and in 233 large cities around the globe. In her study Dr. Itzhak Ben Shalom analyzed mega-data to identify past and future trends in the behavior of climatic parameters while focusing on the effect of urban development on heat stress indices
