Prof. Saad Tapuchi

Prof. Saad Tapuchi received his Ph.D. from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the topic of his research was "Contactless Conductivity, Superconductivity and Susceptibility Studies of Actinides Intermetallic Compounds". Since 1998, Prof. Tapuchi has been with the Shamoon College of Engineering in a variety of academic positions: Chairman of the Department Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE); Academic Head of the Ashdod Campus; Dean of the EEE faculty, at both the Be'er Sheva and Ashdod campuses; Head of the M.Sc. Study Program at the EEE faculty; and currently as Head of the Graduate School. Prof. Tapuchi is a member of Israel's Council for Higher Education since 2017. His current research interests are in the fields of electric drive, the development of ceramic materials from nano metric powders for high relative dielectric constant, and electronic power systems

Since 2014    Development of new system for identification of metal parts movement in the ground (due to the confidentiality of the subject, articles and publications can not be published).

Since 2010    Helical waveguides (5 peer reviewed papers submitted + 1 papers in book volume).
