Presentation of products from the course: “Software Project Management,” Software Engineering

Third-year students (juniors) in the course: “Software Project Management,” in the Department of Software Engineering will present their development processes, starting with the inculcation of the client’s demands, through task management, user stories, and building a product backlog using Jira, and dividing the sprint backlog process in a Replit environment. An inspection program will be presented, code development and its improvement, while demonstrating how the team uses all the work tools by means of AI and ongoing enhancements.

The third-year women students (juniors) in the Ultra-Orthodox extension of the Department of Software Engineering will make improvements in the application planned during the first-semester course: “Managing Demands.” That process will include writing, PRD development in Replit, and running test cases.

In the course: “Engineering Design and Development of Products 2,” mentored by Engineer Ofer Ish-Shalom, Dr. Avihai Shurin and Mr. Sagiv Harush, the third-year students in the academic track: “Engineering and Product Design” work in development teams, planning dynamic products and folding systems for a variety of applications using different production techniques. For example, among the projects presented: a recycling installation for a high-rise building; a system that protects farmers in the field; and dividers that demarcate medical emergency areas.

Within the framework of the course given by Dr. Amit Kenny: “Ferrocement,” third- and fourth-year students in the Department of Civil Engineering will make brief displays based on their practical experiences using that building technique. During prior demonstrations, they had created mini-projects, tested the work materials and the nature of the application, deepening their understanding of the advantages and challenges of that technique.
