Workshops and Seminars
During the course of the academic year, the CPT offers a variety of seminars and workshops, given by instructors from various fields, for the purpose of addressing departmental/unit needs.
The following are workshops and seminars that were provided for academic faculty members: Project-based learning; The branding of professionals in academia; The Faculty English Club; “Prezi” professional presentation software; It’s all in the voice; Preparing examinations.
In addition, the CPT, that is responsible for the preparation of professional lecturers, holds two-day seminars for new lecturers about to become ‘full-time’ staff members. These obligatory seminars are held before the opening of the academic year.
The CPT also has an advanced one-day seminar at least once a year for ‘full-time’, veteran lecturers who are interested in receiving more information on teaching-related subjects.
