The Integration of Technology into Teaching

The CPT places great importance on the development and inculcation of technological means in teaching. Academic staff members receive as much comprehensive instruction as is possible on each and every one of the educational/technological tools that are applicable and useful for their work.

They are granted double coverage - on one hand, by the infrastructure and tech-support provided to them by the SCE Information Systems Division and, on the other, by the pedagogical level of the support received from the CPT.

SCE uses the “Moodle” learning environment. Each course lecture/exercise session in the College has its own “Moodle” website.

Besides the individual and departmental/unit instruction provided by Dr. Naveh, all the lecturers are sent monthly ‘tips’ on how to upgrade their teaching by integrating technology and how they can make more efficient use of the “Moodle” environment.
