Library Services
Loan Services
Loan services are provided to students and faculty members at all libraries during opening hours.
The library operates automatic renewal for borrowed items. Items are automatically renewed provided that they have not been requested by another reader.
Requested items must be returned by the return date appearing in the reader’s account.
Interlibrary Loan
Students and faculty members are entitled to order, free of charge, information items from other libraries in Israel that are not found in the library’s collection.
Send us detailed bibliographic information about an article/book that you did not find in our databases, and we will obtain it for you:
Articles will be sent directly to the requester’s email address.
Printed books will arrive by mail and will be loaned for the period defined, in advance, by the library from which they were ordered.

Book Acquisition
Anyone interested in recommending books and/or journals for purchase is invited to send a reasonable request to library@sce.ac.il.
The purchase of materials is carried out on an ongoing basis throughout the year, in accordance with procurement procedures and the library budget.
Reference and Instruction
The library staff offers professional assistance in locating information resources in areas of interest to students and faculty at the college.
To receive assistance, contact us by email or schedule a personal meeting.
The library staff provides instruction sessions to introduce the library and its services, in addition to an online course introducing the library, which all new students are required to pass successfully.
Instruction sessions focus on teaching search skills in the databases, to which the library subscribes, and on locating relevant information on the internet in various fields.
Lecturers who wish to coordinate group instruction relevant to the needs of specific courses are invited to contact the library staff.
