Operation and maintenance of all electromechanical systems: air conditioning, generator, control systems, water pumps, pressure-increasing pumps, fire extinguishing, break-in and detection system, elevator maintenance, high and low voltage lighting systems and electricity boards, water and sewage pipeline systems.
Operation and maintenance of all college buildings with respect to infrastructures, management of the preventive maintenance system and responding to breakdowns.
Accompany and oversee external contractor work.
Manage and provide consultation, guidance and training regarding campus maintenance issues.
Operational projects: building and laboratory renovation, moving offices/laboratories, gardening, signage, new buildings.
Operate the college warehouse: receive goods from suppliers, ongoing handling of invoice, distribute equipment, inventor, daily handling of incoming and outgoing mail, send letters and packages abroad and in Israel, collect and coordinate transfer of cartons to the archive in Ashkelon, disposal from shredding warehouse and providing bags.
Gardening – improvement and maintenance.
Cleaning – inside and outside buildings, external yards,
Pest control – initiated and as needed.
Internal and external college signage.
Organize and provide direct assistance to events conducted at the college.
Maintenance/call system: to increase service efficiency a maintenance software system is planned to be integrated in order to handle service calls, including call tracking and call closing after the call is handled.
Implement accessibility according to the accessibility consultant’s booklet.
