
Dr. Ziv Brand
Ziv Brand was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel in 1974. He received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Sami Shamoon College of Engineering in 2002 (Summa cum Laude). He then studied at the Ben-Gurion University, receiving the M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering in 2008. He later received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chiang Mai University in 2020. From 2021 he has been a faculty member at Sami Shamoon College and is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research work is concerned with the dynamics and control of machine systems, including rotating machinery, smart structure and active vibration control systems
