Dr. Roman Michaelan

My name is Roman Michaelan and I am a holder of B.A. and M.A. degrees in the field of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel, and a PhD degree in the field of English Medium Instruction (EMI) at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. I have acquired professional experience by teaching English within various educational settings over the course of more than twenty years. Another important aspect of my background is my learning experience gained by taking several courses in other universities to keep abreast of the developments in the field of teaching English for academic purposes (EAP). I started working in SCE - Sami Shamoon College of Engineering in 2010 as a part-time lecturer in English in preparatory courses. In 2014, I was admitted into the English for Academic Purposes Unit as a full-time lecturer
