The center for thermo-dynamic and materials failure research at SCE is seeking fourth year students for final projects.

If you love research and development, are curious and not afraid of a challenge, there are several projects that you can take part in.

Final project subjects under the guidance of Dr. Elad Priel Email: eladp@sce.ac.il:

  1. The study of in-vitro fertilization processes using calculative models – the project is funded by the Israeli Science Fund (possible scholarship) together with the Soroka In-Vitro Fertilization Unit, preference to students interested in continuing the project as a master degree thesis research.
  2. Developing an active structural material for military uses – financed by the Defence Ministry (possible scholarship) – preference will be given to students interested in continuing the project as part of a master degree thesis.
  3. Quantifying the connection between energy and model geometric failure of thin metal components.
  4. The strength of multi-layered assembled structural components.

  1. Development of an anatomical sock to prevent falls in adults.
  2. Developing a rehabilitation instrument for dysphagia and strengthening facial muscles.
  3. Smart garbage-can – the design and development of a home system for compressing garbage.
  4. An autonomous and mobile data collection system based on location to analyse crops.
  5. A miniature and hidden spy/monitor system based on renewable energy.
