Strategic Plan for SCE - Shamoon College of Engineering

This plan is intended to define the principal goals of the College for the coming years, with the purposes of leading to social change through multidisciplinary education, and achieving the continued development and prosperity of the College and its positioning as a leading and influential technological academic institution in the south of Israel – in both the geographic and social periphery.

The key goals are as follows:

1. Continued positioning and branding of the College as a leading multidisciplinary technological academic institution.
2. Developing research and fostering and intensifying scientific excellence among members of the staff.
3. Retaining the identity, strengths, and uniqueness of the College, while simultaneously advancing and adapting it to the academic structure of the new world.
4. Increasing accessibility of studies at the College for special populations.
5. Developing new and unique curricula at the College.
6. Expanding online digital services for students and staff.
7. Improving, developing, and computerizing work processes at the College for the purpose of streamlining and improving service for students and staff.
