Launch of the EIC Complex and the TechMed Hackathon
On Sunday, January 19, 2020 the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center will be launched on the Ashdod campus, along with the finale of the student hackathon in the Center’s courses on “Challenges in the Third Age”.
The hackathon’s outputs will address home medical solutions for the third age, and the judges will include senior representatives from Assuta Ashdod Medical Center, the Amal and Beyond Group network of elder-care facilities and BDO.
The event will open with a lecture delivered by Ms. Keren Etkin, a gerontechnologist and an age-tech expert on “Robotics in the Service of Old Age”.
The Hackathon, in cooperation with the Dean of Students, will be held in the new Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center Complex on the Ashdod Jabotinsky campus.
