Project Oriented Teaching

The first “Project Oriented Teaching” conference will take place on Thursday, May 31st, between 9:00-14:00, in the Minkoff Auditorium at the Be’er Sheva campus.

The unique PO teaching method combines academic education with practical experience and problem solving as conducted in the world of industry and research. This method has been implemented at SCE for several years, with the recent addition of hackathons to the courses. The objective of this method is to facilitate learning while doing, applying this approach to a wide range of courses throughout all years of study.

The conference has been designed to provide a platform for presenting the experience already acquired at SCE, and to discuss all aspects of the PO teaching method and suggest new ideas.

Participation is mandatory for all on-staff academic faculty members (no registration necessary).

Participation is also recommended for external lecturers, and particularly for those who use the PO method when teaching. To register – please scroll down. Final date for registry: Tuesday, May 29th, 2018, at 15:00.
